Celebrate the Halloween and Fall Season

There are so many reasons to love the fall season! Taking in the crisp air and colorful foliage, wearing flannel and cozy sweaters, cheering on your favorite football team, handing out candy to little tricksters, and attending festive events and activities. Celebrate all of this and more in New Cumberland Borough.

The following events have received a Special Events Permit from New Cumberland Borough.

1. 37th Annual Apple Festival

September 30, 2023 – Visitors young and old will enjoy more than 70 food vendors and 200 craft vendors, entertainment and seasonal activities at the scenic Borough Park.

2. OCD Pennsylvania Walk

October 7, 2023 – Enjoy the fall crisp air and walk together to provide support, raise awareness and reduce the stigmas of mental health issues such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

3. New Cumberland Food Truck & Restaurant Rally

October 12, 2023 – Treat yourself and the family to flavorful cuisine from food trucks around the region. After your bellies are full, take a stroll down to Riverside Park or visit our downtown businesses that are just steps away from the Rally.

4. 21st Annual Vickie’s Angel Walk

October 14, 2023 – Join fellow walkers in New Cumberland Borough Park to help raise funds to help cancer patients going through active treatment.

5. Halloween Parade 2023

October 17, 2023 – Join your neighbors and enjoy the New Cumberland River Rescue Halloween Parade. Fun for the whole family! Floats, candy, music, costumes, fire trucks, and more!

6. Trick-or-Treat 2023

October 26, 2023 – Trick-or-Treat in New Cumberland Borough is from 6-8 p.m.

7. Spooky Halloween Storytime

October 31, 2023 – Join the New Cumberland Public Library for stories, rhymes, and songs to celebrate the spookiest holiday!

8. New Cumberland Food Truck & Restaurant Rally

November 09, 2023 – Treat yourself and the family to flavorful cuisine from food trucks around the region. After your bellies are full, take a stroll down to Riverside Park or visit our downtown businesses that are just steps away from the Rally.

9. Accents on Bridge – A New Cumberland Gala

November 17, 2023 – Dance the night away at a fundraising gala to support the purchase of benches, planters, and trash receptacles to enhance New Cumberland Borough.

10. SMT Turkey Trot

November 23, 2023 – This 5K run or walk takes you through the streets of New Cumberland and is fun for the entire family. Proceeds benefit Vickie’s Angel Foundation.
