Drug Take-Back Box

Dispose of your unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter medication safely and close to home.

The New Cumberland Borough Police Department has a Drug Take-Back Box available for drug drop off in its lobby during normal business hours. The Take-Back Box is located inside the police lobby to the left of the entry door. Residents are able to bring their medications into the lobby and deposit them into the box for safe disposal.

This program allows residents to drop off unused or unwanted medications and remove the risk of these medications being misused or stolen. All medications should be either in a pill bottle or in a plastic bag prior to being deposited in the box. Please do not put loose pills into the Drug Take-Back Box and liquids are not accepted at any time.

Remove personal information from original container. Individuals utilizing the Drop Box will not be questioned, required to provide ID or charged a fee.
