Codes Enforcement and Zoning
The Codes and Zoning Department provides the administration and enforcement of regulatory ordinances adopted by Borough Council to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of everyone who lives, works or visits New Cumberland Borough.
New Cumberland Borough has designated zoning districts throughout the Borough, which control development and usage of land. The zoning of an area or property can be changed or altered by submission of application to the Borough and a hearing with the Zoning Hearing Board who would determine the impact on that district and whether such change is appropriate.
