Volunteers Needed: Library Board Vacancy

New Cumberland Borough is excited to announce that we will be looking for dedicated volunteers to serve on the library board. If you are passionate about shaping the future of our community and have an interest in contributing to the library, we encourage you to submit a letter of interest and/or resume to the Borough Manager before June 16, 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact and be involved in the community.

The Board of Directors meet the third Tuesdays of every month at 7:00 pm, except during July and December. All meetings are open to the public and held at the New Cumberland Public Library.

The New Cumberland Public Library is governed by a seven (7) member board of trustees that serve a three-year term. Board members serve as community volunteers, overseeing the library’s budget, strategic direction, and overall service delivery.
