Welcome our new Library Director

From the Poconos originally, Nicholas and his family relocated to Cumberland County where he lived and went to school in Carlisle. It was not long after relocating to Carlisle that Nicholas fell in love with the New Cumberland area. Some of his fondest memories include watching trains go along the river and spending time with his father in the local model train store. After graduating high school and meeting his wife Alyse, who also has family ties to New Cumberland, Nicholas enlisted and completed his enlistment in the Air Force.

Before working for various libraries within the Cumberland County Library System, Nicholas was a library assistant for a private library in Manhattan, as well as the Army Heritage and Education Center and the Franklin County Archives where he was fulfilled reference and archival duties for each government entity.

Nicholas’s undergraduate degree is in English Literature from Bloomsburg University. His Master’s degree in Library Science is from Queens College in NYC.

As the new director to the New Cumberland Public Library, Nicholas’s focus will be on events for youth and adults as well as to continue creating bonds between the library and the various community establishments and businesses.

Please help us in welcoming Nicholas to the library!
