PA American Water Lead Line Inspections

Starting August 25th, PA American Water Company has contracted with CDM Smith to conduct a survey by going door to door and requesting the home owner’s permission to let the canvasser come into the house to verify if the water service line from the street to the home is lead or copper pipes. If  it is lead pipes the PA American Water Company will replace the pipes at no cost with copper. Please contact PAWC with all questions. Additional information can be found here and below.
