Please contact New Cumberland Borough directly to establish or cancel service with Penn Waste and for any issue regarding your bill at (717) 774-0404. Trash service with Penn Waste is required for all residents. By ordinance, unpaid fees for trash collection may be subject to a lien on the property. Commercial buildings and larger apartment buildings or condos may use Penn Waste or choose their own waste hauler.

Billing
Bills can be paid by cash, check or money order and mailed or dropped off at the Borough Office at 1120 Market Street, New Cumberland, PA 17070. The rates for trash and recycling services are increasing from $50/quarter to $90/quarter per dwelling unit starting with the 2023 2nd quarter bill. The 2023 1st quarter bill, which is mailed February 1, 2023, will be $63.

  • January-March: bills are mailed February 1st and due March 1st
  • April-June: bills are mailed May 1st and due June 1st
  • July-September: bills are mailed August 1st and due September 1st
  • October-December: bills are mailed November 1st and due December 1st
